Single-row deep groove ball bearings are radial bearings that cannot be dismantled. They can accommodate both radial and axial loads and are designed for multiple purposes. These are the most frequently used antifriction bearings, due to their straightforward design, their suitability for high revolution speeds and their operational and maintenance durability.

Sealed deep groove ball bearings are deep groove ball bearings with either seal plates (rubbing contact seals) or shields (non-contact seals). Bearings with duplex seals are grease-filled, and are employable in a temperature range from -30 °C to 110 °C. It is recommended to use special greases when the long-term temperature remains above 70 °C.

Deep groove ball bearings are available with a snap ring groove in the outer ring to accommodate straightforward and space-saving axial installation in bearing housings.

ROLLFINE deep groove ball bearings are available with polyamide, brass, or sheet steel cages.
